Comparing Writing Processes

 

 

       There are many differences in how I write compared to my partner. First of all he writes better in public places. I write my best when I am by myself, in my room, and with the door shut. He usually waits until its time to write the final draft to be alone. He loves to drink hot coffee or tea while he is writing. I usually don't drink anything but soda to keep me focused and awake. We both do not really eat anything or watch TV while we are writing because they are both huge distractions. Also, we both like to listen to soft calming music. He usually doesn't spend too much time on editing and revising. Once he is done with the paper, he usually will make sure everything makes sense and be done. I definitely do way more editing with my writing. I probably spend more time editing than I actually do writing the paper. We both have a lot of things in common but a lot different . This definitely opens your eyes to what other people do while writing other than yourself.
